KINE-P246
KINE-P246 is a class that teaches and provides students a chance to improve their communicative skills and their knowledge in exercise class instruction.
In this class we present and lead exercise classes to other students in the class. It helps students work on their skills to lead, correct, and present exercises in a group. In this class, we engage in a structured format where we present and lead exercise classes to our fellow peers. This unique approach not only allows us to share our own knowledge for physical fitness and health but also provides as a platform for developing essential leadership skills. In these exercise sessions, we gain invaluable experience in guiding our peers through various exercises, ensuring we articulate instructions clearly and effectively. Moreover, this practice helps us refine our ability to observe and correct our classmates' form and technique which is crucial for maintaining safety and maximizing the effectiveness of each exercise. We navigate through various types of workouts, from strength training to aerobic exercise and learn to accommodate the exercises to the diverse skills levels and learning paces among our peers. This class has helped foster a sense of community, friendship and support as we encourage one another and give constructive criticism. I have learned the importance of confidence, leadership skills, and the importance of engaging with the audience to keep them motivated throughout a workout. This class helped enhance my fitness knowledge and cultivate a deeper understanding of group fitness.
